Young Adult Read - The Lion, The Witch, And the Wardrobe

I think we're all familiar with The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe.

It's a tale of 3 children who find themselves in a mystical land controlled by The White Witch after going through a Wardrobe, which turns out to be a portal.

I think that The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe is a great Young Adult Read.

To understand why this Wardrobe is a portal to a different Dimension, I suggest reading The Magician's Nephew, the First Book of the series.

Now, you may be wondering, 'Then why aren't you recommending the First book?'

The reason I chose The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe instead of the Magician's Nephew is because The Magician's Nephew is the beginning, but is less popular because of the fact that it doesn't have a movie based on it. Another reason I chose the Second book is because a person can pick up the book, read it, read all the others and figure out what was happening, unlike Harry Potter, where you can't read the second book without reading the first, or everything doesn't make sense.

I think that The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe is a great read for Young Adults!
